As an elementary school teacher, I will use data collection surveys and/or reporting tools as a teacher for a variety of reasons in my classroom. I can use data collection surveys for parents to take satisfaction surveys on different events going on in the classroom. In addition, I can use date collectors for other teachers to rate and comment on different lessons I suggest them to use, to show me the effectiveness of the lesson. As well, I will certainly implement reporting tools such as Excel into my teaching. I can use Excel to make grading more organized and easier. Also, I can use Excel to record student information, such as parent name, email, or phone number.
While reviewing my other classmates’ blogs, I noticed a lot of individually between different elements within their blog. Since we are all given the same topics, my classmates all write about the same information but the interesting parts are the individuality in the structure of each blog. For example, my classmates’ all picked different layouts and background designs for their blogs, and it was really inserting to see all the different kinds. Also, it was interesting to see how different classmates implement different fonts and colors to their text.

A technology skill that I am interested in learning next would be Word Publisher. I think this software would be interesting to learn about because it is a Word software that I have not been certified in but have used it a couple of times for creating brochures and such. I could achieve this goal by furthering my education in technology software’s within taking classes or I can use an online education tool to learn it with, such as GMetrix.
